Thanks, Mrs. Parr 395-3353 alexandra.parr@sccpss.com • What We Are Learning This Week • Math • Multiplication • Reading • Inferencing • Students will work on writing a good paragraph. • ELA • Students will learn about adjectives, pronouns, homophones and homographs • Social Studies • Students will continue learning about the colonies. • Health • The effects of alcohol on the body IMPORTANT! Parents, please take the Georgia Parent Survey developed by the Georgia Department of Education.  Your feedback will be used to calculate our overall school rating at the end of the year.  We need your feedback to show us how you feel we are doing as a school.  The window is open now through January 31.  http://admin.doe.k12.ga/gadoe/sla/gaparents.nsf/Survey.xsp • Science • We are starting our unit on Light and Sound. Collect Your Box Tops Please help our school earn money by collecting Campbell’s Labels for Education and Box Tops for Education. We have already started News and Events There will be a food drive this week! 4th & 5th is responsible for bringing: Dessert/Fruit (anything in this category, below are just ideas) Cranberry sauce,Cannedfruit,Boxed desserts, Boxed/bagged mixes for bread, pie crust, etc Nov. 21stfrom 6-7PM, WFES will host our first INTERNATIONAL NIGHT in the  gym.  Each homeroom will represent a country. The homeroom with the most attendance will receive a dress down pass! a collection, so send in as many as you can! November 11th is a holiday! No School
