  3. Learning Goals • EQ: • How do immigrants contribute to American life? • LT: • SWBAT analyze primary source documents to interpret historical perspectives. • POU: • I can write a short biography of Victoria Confino based on what I have learned about her life in primary documents.

  4. Primary Source • Definition: • a document or physical object which was written or created during the time under study • Today we will look at five primary sources together and at stations around the classroom. • The purpose of today is to construct a biography of Victoria Confino, an immigrant to the United States.

  5. Directions • In your pairs, go to the following link: http://goo.gl/pVMuBV • You will be assigned a number for your starting station. • At you station, examine the primary source and answer the questions on your iPads. • When the whistle sounds, move to the next station (clockwise) in the classroom.
