  1. Make money from Solar PV… even when the sun doesn’t shine! • Solar PV panels require daylight, not necessarily direct sunlight, • to generate electricity and will even work on cloudy days. • Our Grid Connect solar PV systems are the most cost-effective • way of using solar energy safely to power your home, school, • office or commercial premises. • The Feed-in Tariffs (FITs) mean you can make money for • the next 25 years. Please click your mouse to go to the next slide.

  2. How the Scheme works Please click your mouse to go to the next slide.

  3. Benefits 1. The Generation Tariff is a set rate paid by your energy supplier for each unit (or kWh) of electricity you generate. This rate will change each year for new entrants to the scheme (except for the first 2 years). However, once you have joined you will continue on the same tariff for 25 years. 2. The Export Tariff means you receive a further 3p/kWh from your energy supplier for each unit that is not used on site and you export back to the electricity grid. 3. You will make savings on your electricity bills , because generating electricity to power your appliances means you don’t have to buy as much electricity from your energy supplier. The amount you save will vary as it depends on how much electricity you use on site. Please click your mouse to go to the next slide.

  4. How much will I make? Each project is different and your use of electricity will impact on the result, but as an example, a typical domestic solar PV system with an installation size of 2 kWp could earn approximately: • £700 per year from the Generation Tariff • £25 per year from the Export Tariff • Plus £110 per year reduction in current electricity bills. This would give you a total saving of around £830 per year. Please note that this example assumes that 50% of the electricity you generate is exported. 5. Installation A solar PV system can only be fitted by an MCS approved installer. For more information email gridconnect@rexelsenate.co.uk visit www.gridconnect.co.uk or call 0845 605 5045 Our solar PV systems incorporate BP solar panels that we believe are the best. They are guaranteed for 25 years. Note - All goods supplied are subject to availability and Senate’s Terms and Conditions of Sale.
