Public Engagement • OBJECTIVES • Inform public about proposed disposition and provide appropriate opportunities for public to comment and provide input • Proceed in a manner that satisfies requirements of: • School Act • Ministerial Order M193/08 &any subsequent Orders • School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) Policy 21, Disposal of Real Property

Key Messages • Generating value from underutilized assets provides District with additional funds for capital improvements in our community • Funds generated from underutilized assets are intended to supplement, not replace, capital funding provided by Ministry of Education • Disposition of small portion of sites will have no impact on current school operations • Proposed land use is consistent with existing residential development in the neighbourhood
