ADL: Where are we now ? • ADL NATO/PfP Prototype Evaluation Study ongoing, Report to be briefed to MC in January 03 • SACLANT with RTA/NMSG already started thinking on Capability package study, NS(S) and NDC already thinking on Academics content management, ADL Workshop due to take place in Oberammergau in November 032 ( This week) • Partners need relevant courses asap, Allies better understand they will benefit of this, we assess it is time to accelerate the pace

M&S:Where are we now ? • Bi-SC, RTA/NMSG and NTG ongoing studies on Simulation Requirements, feasibility study and cost-effective use of CAX and on Partner Requirements; Reports expected in Jan 03. • M&S Workshop due to take place in Oberammergau in November 02. • Requirement identified for a structured, persistent, readily accessible NATO sponsored exercise programme to facilitate NATO/PfP Training using CAX and ADL

  11. CONCERNS IDENTIFIRD • On Access to the Internet: Not easy for Caucasus and Central Asia Areas. Recommend to explore co-operation with the IS Scientific and Environmental Affairs Div « Virtual Silk Highway » Project. • On Mentorship Programmes for Partners: Recommend PSE to develop a programme in the MCWG(COOP)+ Framework. • On Resources: Recommend using NATO Framework and Bilateral Assistance, and PSEs + PCC

  12. WAY AHEAD SUMMARY 1/3 • MCM in November: • tasking to NS(S) and NDC • To tell the MC in Jan 03 • What Programme of work they see in the future (populate the site); to indicate resources needed Continue lobbying the Nations and exploring Virtual Silk Highway option

WAY AHEAD SUMMARY 2/3 • Prepare MCWG(COOP)+ and then PMSC after Prague, Nov-December 02: _ • briefing MCWG(COOP) +, MC and then PMSC, indicating Vision is shared by players but resources will be needed, • Flag out Progress on TEEP with specific annexes on ADL and on Sim to Post Prague Implementation Documents
