  2. Effects of Dry Air • The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) suggested that we are supposed to maintain humidity in our home or workspace between 30 and 50 percent. When the amount of dry air increases it causes many health issues. There are many ways through which dry air can affect your health.

  3. 1. Dry air can worsen breathing issues like asthma and bronchitis. • When the air around you is very dry, the liquid that keeps your bronchial tubes hydrated can disappear fast, leaving your airways easily irritated. This often happens more in winter when humidity levels drop. Spending too much time in such dry air can make asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, and other breathing problems worse.

  4. 2. Sore throat • If you’ve ever experienced difficulty swallowing when you wake up at night, it might not come as a shock to discover that dry air can be the culprit behind throat pain and inflammation.Researchers tested 45 people by blowing cold, dry air into their throats. They found that the colder and drier the air, the more the volunteers felt pain and irritation.

  5. 3. Eye irritation • In an office with air conditioning that makes the air dry, it can harm the layer of tears that keeps your eyes safe. This might cause dry spots on your eyes, making them more sensitive to other things that can bother them at work. If you spend a lot of time in an air-conditioned office, especially looking at a computer, it’s good to take breaks often to help keep your eyes moist.

  6. 4. Dry skin and dermatitis • Dry indoor air, like in air-conditioned places, can make your skin rough and dry. It can even make eczema worse. Dry air can also make your skin less stretchy and weaker. This means when you touch things that bother your skin, it can get damaged more easily. If you already have a skin problem like eczema, dry air can make it even worse.

  7. 5. Nosebleeds • Nose Bleeding is caused by dry air. As we know, nosebleeds are a very common winter months when houses and offices are heated, They can occur in any season when indoor air humidity is low.

  8. 6. Higher stress levels • As stated in research spending a long amount of time in very dry indoor air may increase your stress level. Similarly, The researcher found out that those who are used to working in buildings with dry air had heart rates that show a stress response. The same participant’s amount of sleep was also disturbed.

  9. 7. Dehydration • Spending long periods of time in a very dry indoor surrounding can affect your body’s fluid level. Similarly, research also comes to that point the hydration levels of workers is very low who spend a lot of time in low-humidity environments. When they analyzed the workers’ urine, they found that it was much more concentrated than workers elsewhere in the plant. Their urine test showed that it was much more concentrated than workers elsewhere in the plant.

  10. 8. Risk of infection • Clinical analysis also shows that dry air can be one of the main reasons for causing flu and cold. Dry air may also affect your ability to fight off viral infections by weakening and reducing your nasal mucus, part of your body’s natural defense against these germs.

  11. Why is air duct cleaning important for fresh air? • Air duct cleaning is really important for keeping the air in your home or building fresh and healthy. Over time, dust, pollen, and other dirty stuff can build up in the ducts where the air flows. If we don’t clean them, this dirt can make the air bad to breathe, especially for people with allergies or breathing problems. Also, when ducts get wet, mold can grow, which makes the air even worse and can smell bad too. By cleaning the ducts regularly, we get rid of all this yucky stuff, so the air stays clean and fresh. Plus, it helps the heating and cooling system work better and last longer. So, it’s really important to keep those ducts clean for good air and a healthy home!
