Encourage collaborations between Inria researchers and researchers all over the world. • The Mediterranean is one of the priorities. • Bilateral or multilateral collaborations (EA, EuroMed3+3, etc). Inria expansion beyond the borders. Several labs: • Inria@Silicon Valley, CIRIC in Chili, LIRIMA in Africa, JPLC in Illinois, LIAMA in China, IFCAM in India. Chadi Barakat

InriaInternship program (tailored to you) • http://www.inria.fr/en/research/international-mobility/internships-programme/ Allow to apply for internships proposed by Inria researchers • Typically for Master students. Some proposals for Engineers. • Mostly destined to non-EU countries. Greece is in. • Your institution needs to be partner. There is a call per year. Typical dates: Mid-October – Mid-November: Launch of the call: Inria project-teams file their internships proposals   Mid-November: Submission deadline: Internships proposals sent to Inria's partner institutions Mid-November- Mid-December:Pre-selection of candidates by partner institutions; Lists of suitable candidates then relayed to the International Relations Department  Mid-December – Mid-January: Inria'sinternship supervisors select their candidates Mid-January: Final selection announced. InriaPhD Program • www.inria.fr/en/institute/recruitment/offers/phd/ Once per year, you can directly apply to PhD positions proposed by Inria researchers (very limited positions, open to everyone) Very competitive process. Prior collaboration (internship, paper) helps. Typical dates: February: Campaign launch May: Campaign end Beginning of June: Selection From October onwards: Taking offices Teams can also hire PhDs with their own funding (if applicable) Chadi Barakat
