STUDENT SOCIETIESPIRSoc (2004) • Organizes debates and guest speakers (including ambassadors and representatives from NGOs) • Social events and pizza/movie nights • Organizes Model UN team that competes annually in New York • 2009 – Outstanding Delegates in Committee Award • 2010 – Honorable Mention Team Award • 2011 – Distinguished Delegation Award • 2012 – Outstanding Delegation Award

  13. Diplomatic Society (2011) • Debates with diplomats and ambassadors from Austria, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam, and the Russian Federation • Organizes teams for Model UN competitions in the UK and Europe • Social Events and Dinners

Philosophy Society (Dec. 2011) • Organizes campus-wide debates on philosophy, politics, aesthetics, and more, including students from multiple departments in the College • Involved with the British Undergraduate Philosophy Society, and will be sending representatives to its annual conference in Leeds

  15. Admissions • Usually AAB at A-level • Three full A-levels • 35 points in the IB • We look carefully at all near-misses
