  2. Kenalkan (Revisi) Lesson Objective; To revise our knowledge of self introductions Students will revisit introductions through Module 1 of New Land New Language. Teacher does; Guess the number warm up Watch NLNL Module 1 Learning Object and answer the questions off the board We do together; Arrange the pictures into a story board I do by myself; Complete NLNL worksheet Wk 1 Lesson 1

Watch Module 1 Learning Object 1: On the plane from New Land New Language Before viewing: • Think about and discuss the sort of language you would expect to hear meeting someone your age pn a plane While viewing: • Look at the visual support provided to help you make meaning • Listen for any cognates (words that are familiar in both English and Indonesian. Now watch the Learning Object a second time and answer the questions on the next slide.

Activity (please copy these questions into your book, leave two lines underneath each question) • What do you think is happening? • Where is Wayan from? • Who orders the Beef Rendang? • Who orders the lemonade? • What do you think an ‘alamat’ is? (Wayan hands one to Peter) • Which greetings were used?
