Impact of Musical Learning on a Child with Cerebral Palsy: A Case Study

This study investigates the effects of music learning on cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of an 11-year-old child with spastic cerebral palsy. Significant progress in attention, motor planning, and processing speed was observed. The child began literacy after music classes and entering a special school. The case study involves neuropsychological assessment, music class observation, interviews, and analysis. Findings show improvements in processing speed, attention, self-esteem, and behavior, attributed to music lessons and special school enrollment.
