Senior “Musts” • Check Transcripts for Graduation Requirements • Meet With Your Counselor For Senior Meeting • Retake the ACT, if Necessary • Attend Campus Visit Days • Scholarship Search Begins • Order Graduation Items • Senior Picture to Yearbook by Oct. 20th • Finalize Resume • Letters of Recommendation (allow at least 2 weeks) • Begin Writing Personal Essay • Make a Final List Of College Choices • Begin Applications – October – December • FAFSA – January 1st – March 1st • Final College Selection – May 1st

Junior “Musts” • Sign up for the PSAT – Sat., Oct. 16th ($15 paid in the fees office) • Join School Clubs, Community Activities, Sports • Attend College Fairs Western Slope College Fair @ Aspen High School - Sun., Oct. 3rd 11am-2 pm, transportation provided • Take ASVAB at FMHS Oct. 6th - FREE of charge Comprehensive Career/Interest Skills Inventory No obligation to Join Military Required by the Military of all Recruits • ACT Prep Oct. 6th • State mandated ACT – April 20th • Register with NCAA – May • RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!!
