BOARD MEETINGS Every 2nd Monday PRESIDENT’S COMMENTS COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT Beaches Museum Fence Painting March 8th, Saturday - 10am – 1pm The Morning Group got off to a good start. Ali had 8 attendees, and one of them, Art Jones, participated in our fence painting project at the Beaches Museum. We painted 125 yards of fence which was a nice community support project. In other good news, at our first meeting of the FineganK-Kids Club, we had 15 students join in. Spring has sprung, so we need to spring into action on the Birdies For Charity sales. Hope to see all of you at our next meeting. Faculty Advisor: Connie Duncan, Kiwanis Advisors: Bill MacLeod and Alison Cacella Mayport Middle School Builders Club: Meets twice a month on Wednesday early release days, Kiwanis Advisors: Chuck Watson and John Bates (Apparently there was a good turn out to watch Melva paint the fence.) Finegan Elementary K-Kids Club: meets on 2nd & 4th Tuesdays each month after school. Faculty Advisor: Marie Pfeil. Kiwanis advisors: Karl Price and Walt Pfeil Mayport Elementary K-Kids Club meets twice a month on Wednesdays early release days. Faculty Advisor: BrigetteKimes, Kiwanis Advisor:John Bates Reading to Pre-School (3,4,&5 years old) Head Start at Southwind Villas and Anders Park twice a month on Wednesdays; Navy Child Development Center twice a month on Tuesdays Note: these days are not set in stone. All joking aside, the fence-painting was done by Kiwanians and friends at the Beaches Museum History Park on March 8th. The painters shown are Karl and Melva Price, John Bates Bill MacLeod, and Art Jones who just attended our first Morning Cup meeting that Ali Cacella started.
