  2. PRE-TRIP DECISION • My parents were worried about me going to JB. The place is dangerous with reported robbery and kidnapping cases. • However, they trusted me to make my own decision. • I wrote down the pros and cons of going to the trip. • Finally,Idecided to go. • I promised my parents that I would keep close to my teacher-in-charge and take care of myself during the trip.

  3. DURING THE TRIP • Our first stop was the Excelsior International School. • I love their swimming pool and the school is so huge! • How I wish Rivervale Primary School has a pool too!

  4. DURING THE TRIP • Next, we proceeded to the Kampong Homestay. • I liked the crunchy crackers the best! • The experience of eating Malay food is horrible because I had to use my bare hands to eat and there were many files. • I appreciate the cleanliness in Singapore and the comfort I enjoy in my school! 

  5. DURING THE TRIP • The highlight for me is Legoland Malaysia. • I leant a lot from the Energy workshop. • Solar panels can trap sunlight and I have not seen this in action before. • It is a pity that I did not finish building the windmill.

  6. REFLECTION • I learnt to be independent. For example, I had to pack my bag at the hotel, take care of my belongings at all times and stay alert. • I have also experienced the kampong way of life and am grateful for the airconand clean food that I have now. • I think I am too pampered. Next time, I will not use the aircontoo often. • I thank my parents, Mr Mah, Mdm Wong, Mr Almanand all the other teachers who went on the trip with us. They have taken good care of us. They have sacrificed their precious time with their families to be with us. I feel really happy that I have made the decision to go for this trip!
