  3. Our Mission United Way of Medina County is a leader in addressing health and human service needs. We will build a stronger Medina County by mobilizing our communities to improve people’s lives.

Your Pledge Counts • $1 per week = • Guarantees a family in need with a week’s worth of meals • Provides monthly transportation to medical appointments for a home-bound individual • $5 per week = • Allows three nights of safe, temporary housing for a family affected by a house fire • Provides one tuition scholarship for a low-income child to attend a Summer Reinforcement Program • $10 per week = • Provides three months of security for a family seeking refuge from an abusive spouse • Supplies four school age children with new clothes to begin the school year • $20 per week = • Provides three months of healthy meals for older adults who may go without proper nutritional care • Finances the opening of shelter and food provisions for a family affected by a disaster situation

Advancing The Common Good 2-1-1 First Call For Help Information & referral - helps over 16,000 Medina County residents Day of Caring Volunteer opportunities - over 7,000 hours have been committed in helping others Taste of Medina Annual fundraiser & networking event - raises over $28,000, which is reinvested back into the community Stuff the Bus School supplies - over 1,400 students are helped each year Employee & Residential Campaigns Raising funds to help others - over $739,000 allocated to local partner agencies through committee volunteers
