  2. Proposal for my Magazine • My magazine is a Music Magazine, it’s genre is hip hop. It is made specifically for hip hop fans. The front cover will have an image, mid shot, a bold title, there will be texts on the side indicating the main contents inside. Then a content page and a double page spread with an interview of a new coming rapper. • I think my magazine will be distributed in high street shops, newsagents, where people who work in various work classes purchases their newspapers and magazine. These music magazines will also be sold at music stores, like HMV and other sites that are part of the genre ‘hip hop’.

The presentation of my magazine • My magazine should represent the gang culture of hip hop, the color scheme is going to be based on the main gangs color code. • The title will be bold and it should stand out, my magazine will be called ‘XMusic’, the letter ‘X’ will be in bright red and ‘Music’ will be in black color. • The image will be of have a guy tensing his body, like as if he is ready for a fight, but smiling to look happy, and give the image a positive feel. The background will be black and white to give it a night look and also to show the underground/ dark side of hip hop.

  14. Target Audience for my magazine • The magazine is aimed at those who would read Hip hop magazine, estimate ages around sixteen and above. There is no specific age range as hip hop is also often followed by children younger. • The magazine has hard core and gossip news, it will also include information about new album releases and information about artists life style; aimed at those who are interested in hip hop, or for those who follow the daily news and updates about a certain celebrity like a fan.
