Book Summary The Great Kapok Tree is not anything you think it is. It is not any ordinary tree. It is full of miracles. It is gracious to all of the animals in the Amazon rainforest. The animals in the rainforest convenes the man to not cut down the tree. It is many creatures homes. The Tree Frog said “Senhor, a ruined rainforest means ruined lives. You will leave many of us homeless if you chop down this tree.” I think you’ll like this book.
The Great Kapok Tree-The Giving Tree The Giving Tree gave it’s swinging branches. It also gave it’s juicy apples. The Giving Tree also gave it’s large trunk. The Great Kapok Tree gave a place for animals to live. It gave food and water. It gave a place to rest. They both have little boys. These two trees give to animals and people.
The Great Kapok Tree – The Salamander Room In The Salamander Room the little boy gives food to the animals and so does The Great Kapok Tree. In The Great Kapok Tree it gives a wealthyhome to live in. In The Salamander Room the little boy would do anything to keep the salamander. The little boy got insects so the salamander could eat. The extra insects got eaten by the birds. In The Salamander Room the boy persuades his mother to keep the Salamander. In The Great Kapok Tree all of the animals in the rain forest persuade the man to not cut down the tree. These two stories are very alike.
The Great Kapok Tree - Annalise When I came home from gymnastics I got out of my car and on my front porch step was a toad. The toad jumped very high. Once I saw a robin at recess. The robin was a beautiful Scarlett . It was in a tall tree. There are Tree frogs and Robins in The Great Kapok Tree too.
The Great Kapok Tree – Text to world Trees were being cut down to clear land and grow food locally and grazed. Just like the man in The Great Kapok Tree tried to cut down The Great Kapok Tree. The Great Kapok Tree is important because it offers a home to animals and also gives food and shade. Rainforest give us crops and medicines to live. Just like the Jaguar in The Great Kapok Tree says to the man not to cut down the tree because he needs his pride.
