1. October We are quickly approaching the second 6 weeks of school! It is hard to believe how fast this year is already going by! We’d like to point out a couple things for October: 1)No School October 8th, Happy Columbus Day! 2)The Holidays are quickly approaching, and ESD likes to have fun with them! Please let a member of ESD staff know if you or your family do not wish to celebrate or take part in activities for Halloween, Christmas, etc so we can plan activities to include everyone! 3)ESD is planning some parent involvement activities, so be on the look out for invitations! 4)Be sure to check out the “Star Student” board in our classroom to see if your Kindergarten or First grade student got to be Mister or Miss Manners! …and speaking of “star students”, we will have a Star Party periodically throughout the year for those students who have been good! Our first one will be on Wednesday 10/31/12, and we hope to do some fun fall/Halloween activites. 5)Please remember that tuition is due on the 1st of the month and late after the 5th. If you have not paid by the 10th of the month, your child will not be allowed to attend ESD until their tuition is received.
