Group respite: • Caregiver/care partner receives much needed break • Participant gains from social and cognitive/brain stimulation • Early- to mid-stage memory loss specific • Volunteers come from the church/community • Local social ministry organization provides • Training, mentoring, coordination

  5. Congregations serve as program hosts • Decreases anxiety for participants • Great place to begin services • Trust already proven in • community’s faith institutions • Those who cannot do program • alone will partner for success • Twice a month good time frame
