Accommodation fees • The residents pay: • A deposit. • All new residents, local and international students after being offered the place in the dormitory have to pay a deposit before actual moving in. • After moving out of the dormitory and terminating the contract, the deposit is returned in 30 days after the resident’s request in writing. The deposit is returned into a resident‘s account of a bank registered in Lithuania • Thedepositcan be used to cover thelastmonthfee. • A monthly residence fee per person. • The fee is being calculated in the beginning of each month and the bill is being issued. The fee has to be paid no later than on the 25th of the month. • All the residents who move into a dormitory after the 15th day of the month or move out of a dormitory before the 15th day of the month pay half of a monthly residence fee.

Roomordormitorycan be changed at firstdayofeachmonth. • I have a problem with the Internet • Contact your dormitory IT administrator (KTU Guest House administrator). Contacts are available on the posters in your dormitory or www.bendrabuciai.ktu.lt • I have a questions about the accommodation fees • Contact your dormitory administrator or Dormitory group (room No. 103) • I need to declarate my living place • Address the Dormitory group (be sure that you have paid accommodation feeofcurrentmonth) • I want to invite a guest • Theguests are being accepted at the dormitory from 6.00 to 22.30, or to 24.00 on Fridays, Saturdays and in the eve of official days-off (public holidays). The guests shall be registered in the guest book(the host is responsible for his/her guests).

Comingandliving...what to do if..? • Something is broken or notworkingproperly in my room or in the areaofcommonuse • Youcanregisterallfaults in the registrationsbookwhich is at the receptionist or tell to the administrator. • My personal belongings are gone • Residents are responsible for personal belongings or other property left in the roomor in the areaofcommonuse. In casesomethingis gone you canalwayscontact the administrator. • I need to absence from the dormitory for a longerperiod (forexampleforonemonth) • Youhave to notify your dormitoryadministratoranddonotforget to paymonthlyresidencefee.

Internal dormitory rules IN ORDER TO ENSURE FAVOURABLE CONDITIONS TO LIVE, STUDY AND RELAX, PLEASE FOLLOW THE DORMITORY RULES AND REGULATIONS • Do not smoke at the dormitory • Do not drink alcohol at the dormitory • Produce dormitory pass to the receptionist • Do not noise after 22.00 • Pay the dormitory fee in time • Do not harass dormitory employees or residence • Keep the requirements of fire safety • Deny entry for unregistered guests • Save energy resources • Do not move to a different room at one’s own discretion • Do not relocate inventory without permission • Keep you room and other areas of the dormitory clean • Do not litter • Do not keep pets in the dormitory • Do not attach antennas, posters or other items to the doors, windows or walls without permission • Do not carry out any works of repair or modification of rooms and equipment of the dormitory at one’s own discretion • Comply with other instructions of the dormitory staff issued without prejudice to the Rules.

  7. Leaving...what to do if..? • I want to moveoutfrom the dormitory • Address the dormitoryadministratorto fill in the formandcome to the Dormitorygroup to terminate your contract. Beformovingout you must: • pay any outstanding residence fees; • vacate the premises of any personal belongings; • let the dormitory administrator to inspect the room before leaving; • return the key; • return the residence pass. • I am movingoutfrom the dormitory, what to do with the deposit? • Your depositcan be used to cover the lastmonthresidencefeeorcan be transferred to your bank account (bankacting in Lithuaniaaccount).Applicationfordepositreturning you canfill in Dormitorygroup.
