1. 0 DMHRSi Work Structures “Work Structures” refer to locations, organizations, groups, jobs, and positions within DMHRSi. “Work Structures” are created using existing source system data. Work Structures are the foundation for all activities within DMHRSi.

2. 1 Location Represents the geographical location of an organization Used on reports to group many organizations into a site or facility Is fed from a source system Location Elements: Name: the Unit Identification Code (UIC) or Unit Description: the Home Port Geographic Location Address: the primary unit address

23. 22 Group Group is an Organization. Group is used to align an employee to a work center when the organization associated with the assigned position differs from the work center in which they actually work. If there is no difference in the organization associated with the assigned position and the employee’s actual work center, the Group and the Organization will be the same value in DMHRSi.
