  1. Reading Tips: 1. Use a ruler to help you keep track of where you are up to. 2. If you mispronounce a word re-read the sentence. 3. Practice doing a summary. 4. Sound the word out. 5. Ask another group member the meaning of unknown words. 6. Pick a book at you’re level. 7. Sound out the first few letters of the word. 8. Read the sentence without the word your having trouble with, re-read the sentence before. 9. Read the sentence through a couple of times if it doesn’t make sense. 10. Break up the unknown word in to syllables. 11. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
