  4. What decisions do you think the director/producer of this music video made in the creation process of this video? What elements of construction do you see in this music video?

  5. Why do you think that anyone would pay to make a music video like this?

  6. What message does this video send about relationships between people, and how do you think this affect the viewers? What about an unhealthy relationship? How do unhealthy relationships affect us? What are some qualities of a healthy relationship? And how does this benefit us?

  7. What are some ways to promote positive mental health? How would viewing this video over and over affect the viewer?

  8. How would the actions of people who see this video most likely change? Why is it important to show respect for oneself and for others?

  9. What is the format of this media, and how would the messages given by this video change if the format were different? What should someone who is facing depression to do to get help?

  10. How do the characteristics of this video affect the message that it sends? What are some normal feelings to have after losing a loved one?

Now, that’s what you’re going to do! • You are going to choose another form of media to use to create something that sends a powerful message just like this video, using characteristics found in this video, including emotions, words, of whatever else you find! • You can pick whatever form of media you like. Some examples would be a poster, a collage, or a video, but the options are endless. • Analyze the power of the media, and how greatly it can affect someone. • The choice is yours, just be sure to tie in the curriculum and the usage of media!

Example: • My example was the creation of a photo collage that shows both the healthy expression of emotion, which leads to positive relationships, as well as the negative expression of emotion, and the problems that can be caused from that. But remember, you can choose whatever you want, and yours does not have to look anything like mine! Good luck! And get thinking!
