Michael Jordan • Was born on February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York • Played basketball at North Carolina, after his junior year he entered the NBA Draft. • Drafted by Chicago Bulls • Helped team make it to playoffs • He received Rookie of the Year Award, five regular-season MVPs, three All-Star MVPs, and six championship rings • He was the most decorated player in the NBA.

Kokomo High School • Kokomo High School has been has been around for about 60-70 years. • In 1983 they decided to shut Haworth High School, (which was the original high school before becoming Kokomo High School) down. • Basketball team went to state last year and are 2011 semi state champs. • Football team are 2011 sectional champs.

  4. Techniques • Give handouts of easy ways to navigate through certain programs such as word, excel, and powerpoint. • Post videos of tutorials of how to do certain things • Make up a game of where to find certain tools on a program. • Make flashcards

  5. INTASC Principles • This project relates to INTASC principle 6 and INTASC principle 2

  6. Introducing Mad Gab • Mad Gab is a game of a deck of cards which contains small words that when put together make a word or phrase. • For example “Up Racked Hick Gulch Oak” pronounced quickly it sounds like “A practical joke”

  7. Mad Gab Rules and Directions • Two teams • 2-12 players • Each team has two minutes sound out three puzzles • When the timer ends the other team has a chance to guess what the phrase is. • If they guess right they steal the points the other team got from the previous cards.
