Comparison of HRRR and RR Grid Resolutions: Setup and Verification Results

This study examines the setup of HRRR (High-Resolution Rapid Refresh) and RR (Rapid Refresh) models, focusing on the interpolation methods used to align both models to their respective grid resolutions. By evaluating the interpolation of RR data to the HRRR grid resolution and conversely, we will analyze the verification results to determine the effectiveness and accuracy of each approach. Our findings highlight the performance differences and provide insights for future applications in weather forecasting and model evaluations.
