  1. ACADEMIC VOCABULARY PERSONAL DICTIONARY HOW TO SET IT UP

  2. Alphabetical order & number of pages • Put a capital letter in the upper-right-hand corner of each page in ink (no letters on back of pages). • For example: “ A” would be at the top of page of 4 individual pages, then “B”, then “C”, so on until you get to the page numbers below • Repeat this for letters “A” through “P” & • “Q” will repeat for 2 pages • “R”, “S”, “T” will repeat for 4 pages each • “U”, “V”, “W” will repeat for 2 pages each • “X” through “Z” will repeat for 1 page each IF COMPOSITION BOOK IS 70 TO 80 PAGES: Only label 3 pages for every letter that is given 4 above. • There will be remaining pages for extra words added to your dictionary if you run out of space (no need to label these pages now).

  3. Each page • You will need seven (7) lines for each word on the front of each page. • Count down seven (7) lines and then draw a pencil line tracing a line across the page • There should be 4 sections on each page for words • Do not use white-space at the top of page • DO NOT USE SHARPIE IN YOUR PERSONAL DICTIONARY (It bleeds through the page and makes the back of each page unusable.)
