  3. 人口(renkou)- The population of Taiwan is about 23,305,021 people.

  4. 首都(shoudu) The capitol of 台湾 is named tai-pei has been the capital of 台湾 (or Republic of China) since 1949.

  5. 国旗(guoqi) Blue represents democracy Red represents nationalism White represents people's livelihood

  6. 货币(huobi) The current currency in 台湾is called the New 台湾 Dollar (NT$) The exchange rate from NT$ to US dollar is 0.03 dollars or 3 cents

  7. 语言(yuyan) Taiwanese (Chinese) is the major language in 台湾 A popular dialect in 台湾is called Min-nan

  8. 宗教(zongjiao) The most common religion in the 台湾region is Buddhism

  9. 农业(nongye) Rice, tea, cotton, and tobacco are just a few types of agriculture in 台湾

  10. 工业(gongye) 台湾 is well known for their industries that specialize in electronics, petroleum refining, chemicals, and vehicles

  11. 自然资源(ziranziyuan) 台湾's natural resources are gold, copper, coal, and natural gases

  12. 总统 (zhongtong) The president of印度goes by the name of Pranab Mukherjee, he is the 13 president of印度

  15. 国旗(quoqiyanse Saffron symbolizes the promotion of peace rather than war. The white stripe also symbolizes the promotion of peace as well as simplicity and purity. • The bottom stripe is green and represents the agricultural foundation that the country has, wealth and prosperity. • The Ashoka Chakra is the wheel of life. The wheel is set in navy blue at the center of the flag.

  22. Differences between 印度 and 台湾 台湾 • Population is lower than 台湾 • Studies buddhism • Currency is NT$ 印度 • Population is higher than 台湾 • Studies Hinduism • Currency is Rupee

  23. Similarities between 印度 and 台湾 • They both grow rice and support rice is as a main source of agriculture • The rupee and the NT$ exchange for about the same amount (2 cents vs. 3) • Both have iron as a natural resource
