  1. Contacting Customers

  2. New Customers • Every 2 days you should reach out to your new customers. • The 2 best ways are through email and phone, but with both ways you need to connect them to your Facebook. • Go to your Coach Office, and in the bottom left hand corner under “My Alerts,” you will see how many new customers you have.

  3. Organizing New Customers • Save this Customer Organization Spreadsheet and open it. • Go back to your Coach Office and click on the “You have ____ new customers” under “My Alerts.” • Click on the dropdown box, select “Excel,” and run the report. • Once the file is downloaded, open it, and you will see the new customers that you have within the past 7 days. • Remember, if you’re contacting these people every 2 days, some of the same people will be on this list, and make sure you don’t contact them twice. • Use the Excel program to stay organized.

  4. Calling Customers • If you’re calling the customers, you want to keep the phone call short and sweet. • Tell them you are their coach and that you’re here to help them through whatever program they’re using. • Find out their “Why,” or why they have decided to make a change. • Ask them about their goals, and if they haven’t created any yet, help them do so. • Ask if they have Facebook, and if so, tell them that’s the easiest and best way to get ahold of you. • Talk to them about joining one of your Challenge Groups. • Give them your Facebook info, have them friend request or “Like” you, and communicate with them that way from now on.

  5. Emailing Customers • If you’re emailing your customers, try to do it one customer at a time, but if you have a lot, put their emails in the BCC box. • For the subject, I always put “I’m Your Beachbody Coach!” • If you don’t hear back from them after 2 days, follow up and ask them if them if they received the email you sent a few days ago. • Sample email on next slide.

  6. “Hey! First of all, welcome to Team Next Level Fitness! If you didn't know already, I'm your Beachbody Coach and here to help you through whatever program you're currently going through. Make sure you let me know that you received this email and if you have any questions! Also, what are your goals? The more I know about you, the better I can help you out! And the best way to communicate with me is through Facebook. Once I hear back from you I will give you the link to my Facebook Fitness page and we can start talking through there!”

  7. Contacting Existing Customers • It’s going to be important that you stay in contact with all of your customers each week. • Even if they are in your Challenge Groups, make sure you send them a “Weekly Coach Check-In.” • To do so, the easiest way is through the Beachbody email. • Coach Office, “My Business,” “My Customers,” “Customer Search,” and then “Send Bulk Email.”

  8. Right Way to Email • First of all, you can label it “Weekly Coach Check-In” or something unique. • In the body, you need to write like you are writing to just one person. • Keep it simple and short, around 3-4 small paragraphs. • I usually update them on how I’m doing, how the people in my Challenge Groups are doing, any new products coming out, and ask them if they are interested in a Shakeology sample or joining a Challenge Group. • Don’t be afraid to let them know how you benefit from being their coach. • See next slide for example.

  9. “Also, I’m not sure if you knew this or not, but I benefit from being your coach by earning credit for any Beachbody products that you purchase through www.teambeachbody.com. Just make sure you log in! It really does help with the amount of time I spend helping out all the people I coach. I appreciate it! ”
