  1. Belief and Behavior Colossians 3:17, 23-24 It’s not what you believe that matters…its’ what you believe enough to do! I. What do we believe? We believe… A. in the sanctity of human life. B. In the dignity of marriage as a union of husband and wife. C. In the freedom of conscience and religion. II. Why do we believe? Because… A. Every human being is a creature fashioned in the image of God, possessing inherent rights of equal dignity and life. B. Marriage as a conjugal union of man and woman is ordained by God from the creation, and historically understood by believers and non-believers alike to be the most basic institution in society. C. Religious liberty is grounded in the character of God, the example of Christ, and the dignity of human beings created in the image of God. III. What difference should believing make in our world? A. We work to create a culture of life. B. We work to restore a sense of profound beauty, mystery and holiness of faithful (Biblical) marital love. C. We work to preserve religious liberty. Conclusion: “Bear witness to the truth in love.” ManhattanDeclaration.org
