  1. Native American Narrative Powhatan By Connor Warden And Draven Bass

  2. Scene One • One day I wake up and notice I'm not feeling well so I ask my mamma so wrong she said, “ I don’t know, everyone in the village is sick.” I sat there and thought awhile and said it must be the white men who just came to our village.

  3. Scene Two • “I`m going to chief Powhatan to see if he knows anything about this.” I said. The chief said, “I don’t know a lot about this disease but my daughter Pocahontas is very sick, I want you to go to the white people and see if there is a cure for this sickness.”

  4. Scene Three • I got a tip that the white men settled across the rive so I grabbed my canoe and headed across. Once I got there I spoke to the head leader and asked what's going on. The commander said, “We have the disease too, its called smallpox there's no known cure.” a couple weeks later Pocahontas and more than half the village died of this disease, smallpox.
