Creating A Safe Tribe • Confidentiality is MANDATORY • Wear nametags at the beginning • Allow for discussion • Avoid putting people on the spot • Facilitate and manage the discussion • Respect Each Other • Begin and end on time • Share feelings as feelings and not as fact • Agree to disagree • Welcome feedback and share it • PRAY-for your group members regularly

Plan With a Purpose SO WHAT? What do you want your participants to walk away knowing at the end of each day? • Study your material • Know your audience • Have an introduction planned • Plan your discussion • Have a conclusion in mind • Put yourself in the material • Stick to a schedule • Create a safe environment to share
