  4. Paid Communication • There is a lot of money that goes into advertising. The actual cost of the ad itself will vary depending on the time the ad is ran, the media you are using, and the resources involved in the ad • Types of advertisements: commercials, newspaper, magazines, internet, radio, social media sites, word of mouth, flyers

  6. Sponsor is Identified • One of the most important item in advertising is for the consumer to remember the company that put out the ad Pictured above is a Pepsi ad that was ran before the Super Bowl. This ad is effected because people can tell who sponsored the ad based only off of colors.

  7. Tries to inform or persuade -The overall guide to advertising is to encourage the consumer to buy the product you are selling. Therefore, ads use a variety of ways to inform and persuade the audience.
