LABA • I beta2 stimolanti a lunga durata d’ azione (salmeterolo e formoterolo) sono indicati in età pediatrica al disopra dei 5 anni e in associazione con i CSI per il controllo a lungo termine dell’ asma . • NON SONO INDICATI PER L’ATTACCO ACUTO • L’ USO DEI LABA DA SOLI E’ SCONSIGLIATO PER POSSIBILI EFFETTI COLLATERALI ( in particolare a carico dell’ apparato circolatorio).

  15. COSTI • SALMETEROLO = da 32,70 a 77,93 euro (salmeterolo/fluticasone) • FORMOTEROLO = da 16,98 a 55,01 euro • SALBUTAMOLO = da 3,14 a 15,80 euro • SALBUTAMOLO/FLUNISOLIDE = 9 euro circa • SALBUTAMOLO/IPRATROPIO BROM. = da 4,90 a 9,79 euro

Commenti e punti di discussione • I SABA sembrerebbero essere usati secondo le indicazioni delle linee-guida • Per i LABA , rispetto alle indicazioni, sembra essere preferita l’ associazione del CSI con l’antileucotrienico piuttosto che con il LABA stesso , soprattutto nella gestione prolungata
