  2. You need: • Front and back cover • 13 pieces of notebook paper (No perforations or tears!)

  3. Step one • Staple the 13 pieces of paper inside the front and back cover. • Line up the hole punches!

  4. 2 3 Step two • Number the pages 1 through 26 • You can number them in any corner, just be consistent! Inside cover 1

  5. Step three • Find the chapter titles at the bottom of the inside cover. • You will copy the chapter titles into the journal pages, two per page, like so: • 3 Chapter 3: Ackley Kid Chapter 5: Snow Chapter 4. In the can with Stradlater Chapter 6.TheTroubleWith Morons

  6. Step four • Write your first and last name on the front cover. • Write your period number on the front cover. • Look at your neighbor’s front cover. Did they sign their name? No? Then bop ‘em upside the head and tell ‘em to write their name! Grrr!!!

  7. Step Five* Repeat the Catcher Journal Oath! • I will not lose this journal. • I will keep this journal. • I will have this journal with me at all times. • I will not misplace this journal. • I will not forget where this journal is. • I will not loan out this journal to a “friend.” They will lose it. • I will not leave it somewhere and then forget where I left it. *Already lost your journal? Make another one.
