International Efforts • Training Assistance • U.S, U.K, Germany, India • United States Department of State • Officially declared Boko Haram as terrorist organization • World Council of Churches from Geneva and the Royal Aal Al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought from Jourdan • Meetings in Nigeria • Recognize poor condition of country • Implement dialogue, not violence

  5. Conclusion • Violence from JTF causes distrust between the people and the government • Outside countries are recently beginning to help combat growing threat • Economic and social conditions within Nigeria must be improved
