Case Study: 31-Year-Old Man with Asymptomatic HIV and Potential Myeloma

This case presents a 31-year-old man diagnosed with HIV in 2012, currently asymptomatic. His latest laboratory results show a CD4 count of 310 cells/mm³ and a high HIV viral load of 431,242 copies/mL. The patient is being referred for further evaluation to assess the possibility of multiple myeloma. Given the immunocompromised status from HIV, careful monitoring and additional diagnostic tests are warranted to explore any hematological abnormalities.
