  2. The WalumOlum The WalamOlum is one of the only indigenous (native) pre-contact written texts available from North America. It is a controversial document because its authenticity is questionable, but it is still an important document for understanding early Native American culture. This version has the original pictograph, an English translation, and a Delaware translation.
