  2. Just make my DAY…. • Making someone’s day is finding simple ways to serve or delight people in a meaningful, memorable way. It’s about contributing to someone else’s life, not because you want something out of it, but because that’s the person you want to be. • A few ways: Smile, Speak, eye contact, seem interested, compliment or participate

  3. Problem Overview • Employee appreciation refers to efforts made by management at a company to recognize, praise and thank employees for their contributions to the company's goals. This appreciation can be expressed in a variety of ways, from rewards to verbal interaction. • As a result, Enterprise drivers feel: • Unappreciated • Undervalued/ expendable • Unsatisfied with working condition

  4. Executive Summery • Project overview: to create an appreciation event exclusively for the drivers of Enterprise-Rent-A- Car Company to increase employee retention, employee satisfaction, and company reputation. • From an executive perspective drivers so a number of things…..

  5. Background Information • Statement of the problem: increasing problems include: - lack of employee attendance -disengagement of communication - negative interaction with consumers - increased driver accidents

  6. Project details • The Goals & Objectives of this project is to create a system where drivers feel comfortable seeing that management is attentive to their needs and desires. • Employees involved include organization drivers, management trainees for local branches and executive employees • Methods include restaurant booking and event advertisement

  7. Available Resources • On a $500 budget things that were readily available to me consisted of: - company emails - paper for printing flyers - working employees -transportation for office workers and drivers

  8. Needed Resources • Fuddruckers restaurant buffet - $400 -lunch consisted of fountain drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries and assorted toppings for 60-70 people

  9. Evaluation Plan • Evaluation questions will be handed out during punch out times at the end of business tomorrow. • Tomorrow is the big event….WISH ME LUCK!!
