Eligibility & Referral Has a physical or mental impairment Disability limits ability to be employed VR services are needed to obtain employment Typical referral is 1 to 2 years before graduation (informal consult earlier) Services Transition consultation Limited purchased services prior to graduation Expanded purchased services following graduation Cooperative Work Experience Program DIVISION OF VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION Employment Support & Assistance MPACT - 2001

ACCESSING GENERIC SUPPORTS & RESOURCES • The entire community is your resource • The “best “ supports are not always paid supports • Reflect on interests and support needs • Identify generic resources that match these interests and/or might provide needed supports • Use personal networks to link to these resources MPACT - 2001
