SECTOR • Statewide Electronic Collision and Ticket Online Records • One of the first projects to be implemented in support of the Washington Traffic Records Committee's E-TRIP initiative • The goals of the SECTOR project are to: • Enable officers to electronically capture data once at the point of origin and transfer it to authorized users. • Improve data accuracy and consistency • Improve efficiencies and reduce costs • Provide an electronic audit/security process • Provide local access to traffic data for query and analysis

High Level Deliverables • Examine the requirements and design the architecture for the exchange of electronic ticket and collision report data based on E-TRIP partner requirements and current operational environments. • Develop Web Services that will allow E-TRIP partners to input, transmit and exchange Traffic Records data in a manner consistent with SECTOR design documentation. • Implement the Web Services that allow ticket and collision to be electronically exchanged among the E-TRIP partners in a way that makes optimal use of the JINDEX.
