  3. Representation, key messagesand values Anarchy , smashing the state, f**king s**t up , having a good time and making music are The Marls key messages! Not giving a f**k about what anyone says about the way you are! These are the normal conventions of the punk genre, and we are taking this and embracing it, we are not challenging the punk genre in any way

  4. Band History and Career Stood outside the Radio 1 building for two weeks playing , £1000 of equipment got smashed, thrown and ruined but it was all worth it! Got played at 5 am and since got more airtime, earned us a record deal to record out debut album , and a support slot with Sum 41 and Anti Flag This will be our debut music video!

  5. Genre and Track A young kick ass punk band! Influences include NoFx, The King Blues, Sum 41, New Found Glory and Anti Flag!The track we are covering is Fat Lip by Sum 41! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMX2lPum_pgThis is a jumpy , bouncy punk track and suits the genre nicely!

  6. Style of Promotional Material Our Album cover will consist of pictures of the bands members and other conventional punk stuff and symbols to make it look more conventional to the punk rock genreThe advert will have again pictures of the band with fictional reviews of the album

  9. Target Audience and How to appeal Our target audience would be 13-25 year olds, people who enjoy live music, having a good time and jumping about, we’re going to appeal by meeting to all the conventions of a punk rock/ pop punk band and including all this in our style and video.
