  2. Warm Up • Determine the coefficient and y-intercept: C: 6, y-int: 10 C: -1, y-int: 5 C: -2, y-int: 8 C: 9, y-int: 0 C: 1, y-int: 0 C: 4, y-int: 3 C: 0, y-int: 1 C: 0, y-int: 3

  4. Notes Time • You need a 4.2 Lab Sheet and something to write with!! • If you do not have enough room in the designated notes section, there is room on the back!! • Turn to page 72 in your blue textbook!!

  8. Lets here what you said and check them! • All answers should lie on the line: • Notice that -3+5=8 and –(-2) +10 =8

  9. Graph: Take the change in y values over the change in x values from two points. • Table: In the table you need to check the ratio of change in y to change in x. This should be the same for all points. • Equation: The slope is the coefficient of x (m in y=mx+b)
