2. 1 Thessalonians Chapter One • A Normal Blessed Church • A.  The basic elements of the normal blessedness (v.1-5): • 1. Because of the perfect coordination of the fellow workers (v.1a); • 2. For the day of the Lord comes as a thief (v.1-3); • 2. Christians shall watch and be sober in faith, love and hope (v.4-11); • B.  Believers become sanctified by co-operation with God before the Lord’s coming again (v.12-24): • 1. Be at peace among Christians and pursue what is good (v.12-15); • 2. Do everything that is connected with the will of God, the Spirit and what is good (v.16-22); • 3. God will sanctify us completely and preserve us until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (v.23-24); • C.  The concluding remarks (v.25-28);

The goal of believers’ being saved ---- obtain of the glory of Christ (v.14b); • 4. The responsibility after believers have been saved ---- stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught (v.15); • C.  Know one’s strength ---- so as to be established in word and work (v.16-17);
