  5. Child Count Taken from the November ISEE Upload §300.641 Annual report of children served--information required in the report. (a) For purposes of the annual report required by section 618 of the Act, the State and the Secretary of the Interior must count and report the number of children with disabilities receiving special education and related services on any date between October 1 and December 1 of each year. Provided by the Idaho state department of education

  6. Child Count Required: Student must be “enrolled” in the district Student must have a current eligibility Student must have a current IEP Provided by the Idaho state department of education

Child Find (60-day timeline) LEA must report ALL students – ages 3 to 21 Referred for the first time (initial) Received written permission for initial (first time) evaluation Regardless of determination (eligible/ineligible/undetermined) 5 day exclusion rule FY reporting (July 1 to June 30) Provided by the Idaho state department of education

  8. Early Childhood Transition • Only used for student (children) referred from Infant Toddler Program of the Department of Health and Welfare (Part C) • LEA must report all students (children) referred • FY Reporting (July 1 – June 30) Provided by the Idaho state department of education

  9. Discipline For SPED purposes, we use the Discipline & Incidents of Crime and Violence data uploaded in ISEE. See Chris Campbell’s presentations Provided by the Idaho state department of education

Data Verification • Child Count – verified by Funding and Accountability Coordinator (Lester Wyer) in December/January • Child Find (60-day timeline) and Early Childhood Transition – verified by Quality Assurance and Reporting Coordinator (Richard O’Dell) in September • Discipline – verified by Quality Assurance and Reporting Coordinator (Richard O’Dell) in September Provided by the Idaho state department of education
