Hinwick house is it true National treasure, this grade one listed stately home is located on the borders of the counties of Northamptonshire in Bedfordshire. In its 312 year history, Hinwick house has had very few owners . It was the family seat of the Orlebar family , hinwick has remained in the hands of the Olivars from 1710 for a period of close to 300 years. As the family moved on the house was sold to a series of owners who were then interested with its upkeep in December 2014, Hinwick house was purchased by the Singh family looking to relocate the principal family home, a decision was made that a detailed program of restoration and sympathetic renovation will be undertaken to restore the house to original glory.
This super quick renovation also involved work to the grounds and drives the house. Hinwick house boss of four entrance, driveways and gates. Many of them were out of commission new gates in keeping with a story character of the house and similar to the original installations were sourced and installed at hinwick house . No description of this renovation would be complete without a mention of the breathtaking chandeliers that adorn all the former spaces in Hinwick house. The renovation project at Hinwick house was broadly completed within a record time of six months. This included renovations to the electrics, the plumbing, the heating, the flooring the walls and the whole range of other works that were required to make the house modern and yet in keeping with his traditional character. Paintings that were originally part of the property and had been sold off over the years Given the beauty of its settings and the tranquil nature of Hinwick village, the renovations were undertaken with a minimum disturbance to any of our valued friends and neighbours in the area. The Singh family hosted a series of receptions for the village which were hosted in the great Hall at Hinwick house , the nature of the role that the house plays in the community because always to be respected and every effort is made to maintain the best possible relations with all neighbours in adjoining Hinwick village.
Due to the efforts of Sam Singh, and courage shown in personally supervising, these renovations in the house, was restored to its previous glory, and now stands tall, ready to face what the future may bring .
