  2. Project Scope • Four distinct workstreams: • Relocation of Health Records Dept; • Relocation of Outpatient Dept 2 (OPD2); • Planning for 6 Theatres, Day Surgery Unit, Admission Unit and Energy Centre; and • Upgrade of existing theatres identified as remaining operational.

  3. Relocation of Health Records: • To an off site location within East Grinstead, with introduction of ‘scan on demand’ facility OPD2 • Adjacent to existing MaxFacs OPD, with shared reception and waiting areas. • Feasibility study to incorporate OPD1 within this plan currently underway

  4. 6 Theatres, Day Surgery Unit, Admission Unit & Energy Centre

  5. Upgrade of Existing Theatres • Discussions currently underway regarding feasibility of Theatres 8, 9 & 10 remaining operational • Infrastructure of the above is more contemporary than A-Wing Theatres • Will be used for dedicated specialty work, for both inpatient and day cases • Some building work would be required
