What is AIMSweb?
    • Direct, frequent, and brief student assessment system for progress monitoring
    • Measures student response to intervention
  • Targets basic academic skills needed for all students to successfully interact with the standards-based curriculum
  • Standardized administration, scoring, and interpretation
    • Provides norm-referenced results to guide instructional decision making
    • Has high levels of predictive validity and reliability for student achievement
    • The online data management also provides graphical representations of student data collection and progress

  • The Greatest Likelihood of Meeting Standards on the CRCT Occurs when the AIMSweb Benchmark Scores are At or Above the Threshold Score
      • This is true for both the Reading and the Math CRCT
      • Reading Comprehension has Greatest Impact on CRCT
  • Teachers can use AIMSweb Data to Set Targets and Quantify Progress toward the Thresholds Identified for Meeting Standards on the CRCT
      • Weekly Progress Monitoring on the Student’s Instructional Level Combined with Focused Interventions are Predictive of Benchmark Increases Over Time
