Admission of the Joint Czech Group into PHENIX Member Institutions

The Joint Czech Group (JCzG), led by Miroslav Finger and comprising notable institutions like Charles University and the Czech Technical University, focuses on advancing proton spin structure research. Current efforts include collaboration on COMPASS experiments related to spin physics and participation in annual studies on symmetries. Planned activities within PHENIX will enhance understanding of proton structure and upgrade the Nosecone Calorimeter. The group has secured funding from the Czech Grant Agency and is pursuing further collaboration with Czech-USA initiatives.
