The history of our school!. Our school was founded in 1939 and it was a high school for girls!. I n1961 the school had 707 students. In 1964 the number of the students was doubled! There were 2.127 students and 52 teachers!

  1. The history of our school!

  2. Our school was founded in 1939 and it was a high school for girls!

  3. In1961 the school had 707 students. In 1964 the number of the students was doubled! There were 2.127 students and 52 teachers! In the academic year 1979-1980 the high school for girls turned into a mixed school. Boys could attend too.

  4. In January 2004 our school moved to a new building.

  5. Now there are 401 students and 46 teachers.

  6. In 2012 it adopted the name “Odysseas Elytis” after the renowned poet who won the Nobel prize for literature in 1979.

  7. The school held its first poetry symposium in February 2013

  8. The team of students who worked on the environmental project “Climate Change” 2012-2013

  9. Having a great time at school!
