Actual Quotes Regarding Geophysical Survey Results
  • What do you call this stuff, Voodoo Engineering?
  • Although I don’t know what it all means, the sections look pretty!
  • So what color is bad, red or blue?
  • I like the colored pictures more than the engineering technical mumbo-jumbo in the report.
scope of work

  • Previously filled sinkholes (concrete, soil and rock)
  • Ravelling and subsidence continuing of sinkholes

GEOLOGIC SETTING

  • Conococheaque formation of Upper Cambrian Age

recommendations
RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Two options:
  • Repair existing sinkholes with a reverse graded filter and a clay cap. Risk of future maintenance costs associated with any additional sinkholes that may develop beyond the repaired area.
  • Repair existing sinkholes as noted above and install a geosynthetic liner. Best long-term solution.
