  4. How to pick a book • Look for a book that looks interesting to you. • Look at the picture on the cover to figure out what the book might be about. • Take it GENTLY off of the shelf and begin reading. Back Next

  5. How to hold a book • Hold the book right-side up. • Make sure that the pictures are not upside down. Back Next

  6. How to read a book • Follow the words from left to right. • Look at the pictures to help you figure out what might be happening. Back Next

  7. How to turn the pages • Turn one page at a time, very GENTLY! • Hold the right side of the page and turn it over to the left to get to the next page. Next Back

  8. How to put the books away • Close the book GENTLY so that none of the pages get bent. • Put the book back on the shelf GENTLY so that all of our books can stay in GREAT shape! Next Back
